“Crime crime”: in Sweden, natives of Iran were spied for Russia for ten years

Sweden prosecutor’s office brought two immigrants from Iran to espionage in favor of Russia.

Anadolu, citing the prosecutor’s office, reports that the Payman brothers and Pai Kia are accused of transferring confidential information to the Russian side. According to investigators, the accused were engaged in espionage in favor of Moscow for 10 years.

According to the indictment received by the Associated Press, the brothers from September 2021 to September 2022 shared secret information with the main intelligence department of the Russian Federation. The main state prosecutor Pen Lindvist said that “we are talking about a crime that is not simple.”

According to him, one of the brothers shared the information received when he worked in Swedish domestic intelligence and the Armed Forces.
