The 3rd meeting of the steering committee of the project “Convention on common transit procedures, Convention on simplification of documentation in trade in goods and support of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the process of joining the new computerized transit system” was held.
The event was attended by representatives of the State Customs Committee, the Italian Customs and Antimonopoly Agency, the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
Head of the Secretariat of the State Customs Committee, head of the project group from the Azerbaijani side, Anar Suleymanov, speaking at the meeting, noted that the activities within the project were carried out in accordance with the relevant plan, for which he thanked the Italian colleagues. Confidence was expressed in the successful continuation of cooperation between the parties in connection with the implementation of the project.
At the same time, representatives of Italy, brought to the meeting participants their thoughts and proposals for the implementation of the project.
Then, at the meeting, the corresponding work plan and budget documentation of the project was considered and adopted.
