The Czech Republic is negotiating with Germany on the supply of Leopard 2 tanks in return for heavy military equipment transferred to Ukraine, TASS reports with reference to Czech television.
In the situation that arose as a result of the Russian war against Ukraine, the Republic, according to television, seeks to increase its security and strengthen the defense. Therefore, the National Army should be strengthened by modern technology.
It is noted that the Czech Republic in the course of undergoing modernization plans to get newer tanks from Germany than Leopard 1. The best option would be Leopard 2.
