In the city of Kaspiysk, a girl was injured as a result of a drone attack, reports the Ministry of Health of Dagestan.

“Doctors of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital are treating a girl injured as a result of a UAV attack in Kaspiysk. A 12-year-old child received a slight, non-penetrating wound to the chest; her life and health are not in danger,” says a message published on the department’s Telergam channel on Monday, 1 December.

Earlier, the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov reported that air targets were shot down over the Caspian Sea. In the Krasnodar Territory, a cell phone tower was damaged by UAV debris. “In the Seversky district, UAV debris damaged three private houses. A cell phone tower was also damaged,” says a message on the telegram channel of the operational headquarters.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 32 UAVs had been neutralized over the past night. “During the past night, in the period from 23.30 Moscow time on November 30 to 7.00 on December 1, duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles,” he noted.

UAV attacks on Russian regions began in 2022 against the backdrop of a “special military operation” in Ukraine.

Kyiv officially did not confirm his involvement, but in August 2023, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President, Mikhail Podolyak, said that the number of UAV strikes on Russia “will increase.”

In early March 2023, President Vladimir Zelensky said that the whole world is seeing the results of Ukraine’s use of its own drones against strategic targets in Russia. “I think everyone sees that our drones work. And they work long-range. Our long-range is a real approach to security for everyone,” the head of the Ukrainian state said in a video message after a massive drone attack on the regions of the Russian Federation, including the Moscow region.

Zelensky emphasized that “Ukraine will inflict retaliatory losses on the Russian state – quite rightly.”

In May 2023, a drone exploded over Senate Palace in the Kremlin, UAVs repeatedly hit the buildings of the Moscow City business center. The border Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions and annexed Crimea are also often targets.
