“Dawn” prevented: Israel rejected Lebanon’s proposal

Israel rejected Lebanon’s proposal in negotiations on the demarcation of the marine border between the two countries after meeting with the American mediator Amos Khokhstein, the newspaper El-Nashra.

Although Hokhstein “seeks” to continue his efforts on this issue, “time for negotiations is not endless,” said the vice speaker of the Lebanese parliament Bu Saab. “The closer we are approaching on September, the more important time becomes. In order to maintain stability, everything should end until September,” he said.

Saab added that the Operation Dawn in Gaza delayed progress in this matter from Israel, and emphasized that “we have no luxury of time.”
