On the Azerbaijani coast of the Caspian Sea, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources conducted large -scale monitoring in connection with the identification of mass deaths of seals on the Dagestan coast of the Caspian Sea.
According to the head of the Biodiversity Security Service Firudin Aliyev, during the monitoring in the Khachmaz district in the directions of the village of Tupis, the villages of Tycanlyoba, Seidley and recruit were discovered 17 dead seals.
“Together with experts of the food security agency, samples of dead seals will be taken and the results will be published,” said APA representative of the Ministry of Ecology.
