The death toll from a car explosion in New Delhi, the capital of India, has risen to 13.
India Today writes that the investigation into the incident, which occurred on November 10 in the central and one of the most densely populated areas of New Delhi, continues.
According to authorities, some of those injured in the explosion died from their injuries. This brings the death toll to 13.
As part of the investigation, police raids were carried out in various areas of the Indian-controlled region of Jammu and Kashmir, during which the number of detainees increased to 10.
The explosion occurred on the evening of November 10 in one of the most central and busiest areas of the city – the Red Fort. The explosion, which occurred in a car stopped at a red light, caused damage to neighboring cars.
The Indian government said the incident was a “terrorist attack carried out by anti-national forces.”
