Death Toll From Floods And Landslides In Vietnam Rises To 36

The death toll from floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in central Vietnam has risen to 36.

Intense rainfall has continued in the central regions of the country since the weekend, local media reported.

Five missing and 60 injured were also reported. More than 120,000 homes are under water due to floods and landslides, and some roads remain closed to traffic.

Heavy rains are expected to continue until the night of November 4.

The Vietnam Meteorological Service reported on October 28 that rainfall in Hue city had reached a record level in 24 hours.
