The death toll from floods caused by heavy rainfall in Vietnam has risen to 90 people, reports VnExpress.
According to the Department of Natural Disaster Prevention and Relief under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 12 people are missing.
Search and rescue efforts continue. As a result of the disaster, 1,154 residential buildings were damaged. Heavy rains continue to seriously complicate life in the country.
Due to the floods, more than 1 million households were left without electricity, and the total damage is tentatively estimated at $341 million.
