Over the past week, during the operations of the Turkish Armed Forces carried out in the north of Iraq and Syria, 108 terrorists have been neutralized, including the so -called militants’ leaders.
This was announced at a briefing by a spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey Zeki Akturk.
According to him, 67 terrorists were neutralized in Iraq, 41 more in Syria.
Akturk noted that from the beginning of the current year, Turkey’s security forces neutralized a total of 953 terrorist, of which 443- in the north of Iraq and 510 in the north of Syria.
According to him, two more terrorists of the RSC, who escaped from their shelters in the north of Iraq, lay down their weapons and surrendered to the Turkish military at the checkpoint in the Khabur region.
