Over the past week, the Turkish military neutralized 75 terrorists during operations in the north of Iraq and Syria. This was announced at a briefing by a spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey Zeki Akturg.
According to him, the operations were carried out, among other things, against the terrorist organizations PKK/KCK/Pyd-YPG, Deash and Fetö.
Akturk added that from the beginning of the current year, Turkey’s security forces neutralized a total of 748 terrorists, of which 331 were in the north of Iraq and 417- in the north of Syria.
Akturk also said that the joint Russian -Turkish monitoring center in Agdam (the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan – Ed.) Crosses its activities.
According to him, work aimed at completing the center of the Center is carried out during coordination with the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan.
The speaker of the Ministry of Defense recalled that the joint monitoring center was opened on January 30, 2021 as part of the memorandum between Turkey and Russia.
