Delegation from Azerbaijan visited province of Kazakhmanmarash

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ankara Rashad Mamedov, said that Azerbaijan will support Turkey in eliminating the consequences of earthquakes and the construction of new buildings.

The delegation of Azerbaijani parliamentarians and public figures visited the Turkish province of Kazakhmanmarash.

The delegation included the Vice Speaker of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ankara Rashad Mammadov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Defense, Safety and Corruption of Ziyafet Asker, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Turkey Rashard Mammadov, Singer Azerin, Chairman of the public association of education Demobilized military personnel Emin Hasanli, participant in the war Akhliyat Mehtiev, head of the Social Research Center Afghan Veliev and entrepreneur Asif Gurban.

The delegation visited the tent towns built by the Azerbaijani government for the affected by the earthquake in Kamhramanmarash, and in 360 tents, helping families on the occasion of Ramazan was distributed. The delegation members met with the victims and talked with them.

During the meeting, Adil Aliyev noted that in difficult times our peoples always support each other.

“If this was a war for the liberation of Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia, earthquakes or forest fires in Turkey, our peoples, as befits brothers, is always together,” said the vice speaker.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey, Rashad Mammadov, in turn, added that the help of the victims of earthquakes was provided throughout the past time, and will continue. At the same time, with the support of Azerbaijan, the construction of houses for those affected by the earthquake begins.
