President Ilham Aliyev noted with satisfaction that the products of the Turkish military-industrial complex are already known at the world level due to its quality and efficiency. The head of state also emphasized that serious steps are being taken in Azerbaijan on the development of defense industry. He said that from this point of view, the visit of the delegation of leading Turkish companies to Azerbaijan creates good opportunities to discuss the prospects of cooperation.
Having thanked for the reception, Khalyuk Gergun expressed satisfaction by making a visit to Azerbaijan with a large delegation, which presented the leaders of influential companies that form the basis of the Turkish defense industry. Khalyuk Gergun informed President Aliyev about the signing within the framework of the visit of the memorandums about the understanding between companies represented as part of the Turkish delegation, and Azerbaijan defense industry enterprises in a number of directions.
