Delegation Of Turkish Religious Fund Began Charitable Mission In Malawi

The delegation of the Turkish religious Fund (TDV) began a charitable mission in Malawi as part of the campaign “Kurban divided – close to his brother.”

12 members of the delegation sent by the Fund flew out of the Istanbul airport to deliver sacrificial meat to the needy for Malawi. The delegation first arrived in Johannesburg (South Africa), and then continued the way to the capital of Malawi – Lilongve.

The head of the TDV group in Malavi Fuat Buyuyukkaymaz informed the Anadola correspondent that this year, as part of the campaign, part of the sacrificial animals will be scored in this African country.

According to him, as in previous years, the fund continues to work on the delivery of meat to those in need.

Boyyukkakaymaz noted that 1300 sacrificial animals will be scored in Malavi, and the meat will be distributed among about 10 thousand families in six regions: Chikvawa, Lilongwe, Mchindzhi, Salima, Blantyir and Mangochi.

He emphasized that the whole process of slaughter will be carried out in accordance with religious norms.

“from the point of view of the distribution of Malawi’s income is one of the poorest countries in the world. Here people have the opportunity to eat meat, perhaps only once a year,” he added.

In addition, Buyuyukkaymaz said that representatives of the Fund not only participate in festive events along with the local population during Kurban-Bayram, but also hold charity events in the region and in the Muslim month of Ramazan.
