Demining Agency: accuracy of armenia cards of minefields transferred

In the primary inspection of the Mint Fields represented by Armenia on the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from the occupation, they are impressed by their unreliability, unsuitability and inaccuracies. This is stated in a statement by Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijani Agency for Demining Vugar Suleimanova.

According to him, last week the Armenian side handed over the Azerbaijani side of the form of mini field cards on the remaining liberated territories of Azerbaijan. “In the formulars of mine fields, the coordinates of the area are usually indicated, the types of mines installed, their number, the distance between them, the order of location and disguise. However, the first acquaintance with mining cards creates the impression of their invalidity, unsuitability and inaccuracies,” Suleimanov said.

The Armenian side claims that the formulas covering all mine fields to get from liability within the framework of relevant international court cases, said the head of the agency. “But we have serious doubts that the forms transferred to the Armenian side fully reflect the situation with mines on all liberated territories,” said Suleimanov.

he noted that Azerbaijani agency and the Ministry of Defense have already begun to analyze and process the obtained formulas. “After completing the analysis of the form of formulas, the data will be applied to cards and tested for compliance and accuracy,” said Suleimanov.

Anama Chairman recalled that the accuracy of the previously transferred Armenia Azerbaijan’s cards of mine-fields was low: “The accuracy of the previously transferred Armenia data on mineral fields in Agdam, Fizuli and Zangilane is 25%.”
