Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan Olzhas Anafin emphasized the importance of international dialogue in the field of family policy.
Answering the questions of “Anadola” on the fields of the International Family Forum in Istanbul, the deputy head of the department noted that the forum is an important platform for the exchange of experience and the best practices.
For Kazakhstan, the topics of support for families, preserving traditional values and digitalization of social services are especially relevant, he said.
Today, families are faced with a number of challenges – this is economic instability, decreased birth rate, growth in the number of divorces, as well as the influence of the information environment that contributes to the erosion of traditional landmarks. It is important to pay attention to the strengthening of the role of the family as a support of society and the formation of a healthy moral climate in the education of the younger generation, ”said Anaphin.
He said that Kazakhstan is actively developing the infrastructure for securing children, introduces programs of preferential housing rental for young families, digitalizes the process of obtaining social benefits and expands initiatives to support parents’ employment.
Particular attention, according to the representative of the Ministry of Labor of Kazakhstan, is also paid to the promotion of gender equality: conditions for flexible employment are created, children’s care services are expanded, female education and entrepreneurial activity are supported.
Anaphin also noted the presence of a positive experience in international cooperation in the field of digitalization of social services and family support. “We have already exchanged knowledge with a number of countries and plan to expand this partnership,” he added.
