Deputy head of Turkish Foreign Ministry will discuss in Ethiopia of Communications with African Union

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Buraku Akchapar will make a working visit to Ethiopia.

According to Turkey’s diplomatic missions, on May 1-4, in Addis Abbe, the deputy minister will negotiate with representatives of the Ethiopian authorities and the African Union (AS).

The agenda of negotiations includes such topics as: the evacuation of Turkish citizens from Sudan through Ethiopia, the bilateral ties of Turkey with Ethiopia and AS, as well as topical issues of the regional and international agenda.

At meetings with the authorities of the African Union, it is planned to consider decisions adopted at the 3rd Summit of the Turkey-Africa partnership, as well as the course of implementation of joint projects.

will evaluate the possibilities of cooperation with the African Union in order to establish peace and stability on the continent.
