Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan fell on a bribe

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Dyukanbaev detained by law enforcement officers on suspicion of extortion of bribes. This was announced on Thursday Press center of the State Committee of National Security (GKNB) of the Republic.

“Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers was detained on suspicion of extortion – Minister of Digital Development Azamat Dyikanbayev. In the near future he will be notified of a suspicion of committing a crime, and the Pervomaic District Court of Bishkek will consider the issue of election of preventive measures against it,” – the message says.

According to the GKNB, the Deputy Cabinet is suspected of extorting a bribe from representatives of the company, which is implemented in the country a “Safe City” project.

Dyukanbayev was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Digital Development on May 5th of this year.
