Dollar Grew Up Against Background Of US And PRC Tariff Transaction

The exchange of the American dollar grew after the announcement of a significant decrease in tariffs between the United States and China.

At negotiations in Geneva, Washington and Beijing agreed that the United States will reduce duties for Chinese goods from 145 to 30%, and the PRC – from 125 to 10% by 90 days.

Against the background of the transaction, the dollar index for the first time from April 10, 2025 grew to 101.8 points.

Currently, the index is 101.4, adding 1.08 %per day.

After the American-Chinese transaction on tariffs, the price for the ounce of gold that previously beaten records due to global economic uncertainty fell.
