Donald Trump Announced His Refusal To Participate In G-20 Summit In South Africa

US President Donald Trump announced his refusal to participate in the Group of Twenty (G-20) summit, scheduled for November 22-23 in South Africa.

Speaking at the American Business Forum in Miami, the American leader confirmed that he does not intend to attend the G-20 summit in Johannesburg. “South Africa should not be in the G-20,” said the American leader.

Trump noted that he “never approved” of a number of events taking place in South Africa, but did not specify which incidents he was talking about.

In May of this year, Trump received South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the White House. During a meeting in the Oval Office, the owner of the White House accused the South African authorities of failing to prevent the commission of serious crimes against the white population of the country.

In response, President Ramaphosa said that the South African government was making efforts to control the high crime rate in the country and categorically rejected claims that the victims of crimes are exclusively members of the white race.
