Dost came to Shushu

In Shusha, they presented the program of the DOST agency “Karabakh and East Zangezur” to create a DOST network in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the population said.

A meeting of the Dosta Supervisory Board in Shush began in a moment of silence in memory of the dead heroes of the Patriotic War. The Chairman of the Council, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population, Sakhil Babaev, noting that the territories of Azerbaijan, including Shusha, were freed from almost 30 years of occupation of Armenia, told how work is being carried out to expand the DOST concept in the Karabakh and East-Zangesurian economic regions .

The Minister said that the first service in Azerbaijan was commissioned by Smart Dost, on May 27, 2022 in the village of Agaly, the Zangilalan district, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. Using the SMART DOST system, citizens will be able to use more than 100 online services in the field of labor, employment and social protection with a transparent, convenient and affordable way.

Dosta agency was created by presidential Decree of August 9, 2018. The DOST concept, initiated by the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, made it possible to provide state social services – 154 services – through a “single window” according to modern, flexible and completely transparent mechanisms.

Since May 2019, 5 DOST centers have been opened. In the past, these centers served about 1 million citizens, and the satisfaction of citizens with access services is 98.5 percent. In total, by 2025, it is planned to open 17 regional DOST centers, DOST branches in 55 regions, as well as SMART DOST service points in a number of directions.

At the meeting, the chairman of the Dosta agency Farid Mammadov spoke about the agency’s activities and presented the Dosta program of the Eastern Zangezur and Karabakh. It was noted that the DOST branch in Shush will be created on the ground floor of the 4-story building of the old mail, and the entrance, office premises, the working area and the service hall will be designed in accordance with the concept of the interior Dosta.
