Dost Agency (Sustainable and Social Security Agency) has become the winner of the European Social Services AWARD-2021 European Social Network Competition.
The press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reported that the competition includes initiatives to assess the results achieved in the field of social services, the introduction of creative solutions to cover people care during a pandemic period based on the application of new innovative practices, launch of new technological Tools, etc.
Dost agency was awarded the European Prize in Social Services for the introduction of a smart model in social services in the “Technological Tools” category. The application “Combine Values is to seek equality”, reflecting the activities of Dost volunteers, has become a finalist of the European Prize in the field of social services in the category “Gorgeous Staff”.
The winners of the competition were determined by the jury on the basis of the outcome of public voting. Of the more than 20 thousand votes received by the Agency of Dost, about 17 thousand falls on European Member States of the Organization.
DOST agency is the only state institution of the Council of the European Social Network, which does not represent the country – a member of the European Union, as well as the only representative of the CIS, which is an active participant in the events and discussions of the European Social Network.
Note that in 2020, Dost also took place in the list of finalists of the European Social Services Award. In February of this year, DOST was awarded a diploma of the International Association of Pension and Social Funds for advanced innovations in the field of social security and improving citizens’ satisfaction, the introduction of digital technologies, as well as operational methods for providing public services.
