Dozens Of People Died Per Day From Floods In Pakistan

at least 28 people died, another 90 were injured as a result of floods caused by heavy mousson rains, which fell into the territory of Pakistan over the past 24 hours. This was reported by the Dawn newspaper with reference to the representative of the Directorate for the Elimination of the consequences of natural disasters (PDMA) in the province of Penjab Faruka Ahmed.

According to Ahmed, most deaths were recorded as a result of the collapse of roofs and walls against the background of ongoing precipitation.

PDMA warned of the risk of river exit from the coast in connection with the ongoing rainfalls.

Mussonon rains annually collapse on Pakistan from July to September, leading to hundreds of victims and significant damage in various regions of the country.
