DPR forcibly mobilized in army stated that they were sent to Mariupol by deception

The head of the Donetsk separatists, Denis Pushilin, forcibly mobilized the fighters of the “People’s Police” battalion “DPR” and deceived them to Mariupol. The Insider writes that the fighters told about this in their video message.

According to them, Pushilin promised the fighters that unprepared and inexperienced people would not participate in military operations, but students and employees of enterprises were on the forefront. The fighters emphasized that during mobilization there was also no medical board, which is why people with chronic diseases went to war. As a result, about 40% of the battalion died.

The Insider recalls that the general mobilization at the DPR and LPR was officially announced on February 19. After a couple of days, it became known that it was accompanied by abductions of men. They were taken to the collection points for further sending to armed groups.
