Dozens of public transport drivers in Yerevan began a strike because of interruptions with the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel. In the formation of the deficit, they accuse the metropolitan authorities, writes “Sputnik Armenia.”
According to protesters, supply interruptions began after the city administration entered into a contract for providing transport with CPS. After that, the fuel in the storages began to appear more and less often, and on the eve I was missing at all. “How do we now work? Let the state think, the mayor’s office thinks about how to solve the problem. Thousands of our fellow citizens remained without transport,” said one of the drivers.
In turn, the press service of the Yerevan mayor’s office stated that the wines for interruptions with deliveries lies on suppliers of petroleum products. The officials assured that the problem is exclusively technical and will be eliminated soon.
