In the Kyrgyz city of Batken, the next sincere meeting of the government delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on the division and demarcation of the state border between the two countries took place. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the chairman of the national security state security of Saimumin Yatimov, the delegation of Kyrgyzstan – the head of the GKNB Kamchybek Tashiev.
During the meeting, a thorough exchange of views was held on the issue of delimitation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border.
The leaders of delegations expressed a complete understanding of the need to intensify the further description of the passage of the design line of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border in the remaining areas.
The relevant instructions were given to working groups.
Topographic workers and working groups on legal issues of government delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on Delimitation and Demarration of the State Border will continue to work to describe the design line of the Tajik-Kyrgyz border in the remaining areas.
During the meeting, the need to strengthen friendship, mutual understanding and trust between border regions, as well as continuing active work between the border regions and regions of the two states, was especially noted.
