In Dushanbe, a meeting of the chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Firdavs Tolibzod with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to the Republic of Tatarstan Umut Adjar took place. This is stated in the message of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
The expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey in the field of the banking system was discussed, especially the opening of correspondent accounts, the creation of branches of Turkish banks in Tajikistan.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of the banking system of Tajikistan, cooperation in the direction of the development of the “green” economy and the prospects of banking cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey.
Firdavs Tolibzoda introduced the ambassador to the macroeconomic situation and the country’s banking system. He noted that the legislation of Tajikistan in the banking sector forms favorable conditions for the work of foreign banks, their branches and representative offices in Tajikistan.
