Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Hulk Maslahaty (People’s Council – the Supreme Representative body) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held negotiations in one -on -one format. This was reported by the Turkmen news agency Turkmenistaninfo.gov.tm.
After the official ceremony of the meeting and photographing against the backdrop of the state flags of the two countries in the Palace of the Nation in Dushanbe, the head of state of Tajikistan invited the chairman of the Hulk Maslahatta to the hall for bilateral meetings, where negotiations were held at the highest level.
During the negotiations that took place in a traditionally trusting and mutually insistent environment, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Emomali Rahmon discussed the main directions of cooperation between the two fraternal countries.
The great importance was emphasized by the neighboring states, the development of comprehensive ties of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. In addition, the confidence was expressed that today’s historical meeting would give new powerful impulses to the development of interstate dialogue based on the centuries-old experience of friendship, good neighborliness, general historical roots and spiritual and cultural values of the two fraternal peoples.
Upon completion of the meeting in one -on -one format, the negotiations continued in an expanded composition – with the participation of members of the official delegations of the two countries.
This morning, the chairman of the Hulk Maslahata Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, an official visit, arrived in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan – the city of Dushanbe.
According to Turkmen media, the Turkmen-Tajik meetings and negotiations at a high state level are provided for this trip.
Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will consider a wide range of bilateral cooperation, it is expected to sign a number of new documents on bilateral cooperation.
Also, as part of the Berdimuhamedov program program, he plans to meet with the chairman of Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli Republic Tajikistan Rustami Emomali, Chairman of Majlisi Namyandagon Majlisi Olya Republic of Tajikistan Makhmadtoir Zokirzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Rasulzod Kmenistan and Tajikistan – “Friendship Evening”.
