Early elections started in Armenia: polling stations opened

started a vote on early parliamentary elections in Armenia. Polling stations opened at 08:00 in the morning. From 2008 plots 479 are located in Yerevan, another 1529 – in the regions of the country, the Armenian media report.

2.578 million citizens of the country have the right to participate in the elections. 363 people have the right to take part in the electronic elections. These are the staff of the diploma and their family members.

The passage barrier for batches by electoral legislation is set at 5%, for alliances – 7%. There is no threshold. Elections will be 100% proportional system.

Record 25 political forces (4 blocks and 21 batch) take part in the election. Among them are the forces led by former presidents (Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharian, Serzh Sargsyan) and I.O. of the current Prime Minister of Nikola Pashinyan.

Among the participants also “National-Democratic Pole”, the basis of which was the terrorist group of “Sasna TsRER”, which captured the territory of the PPS building in 2016.
