An earthquake of 4.2 magnitude occurred in the region of the Turkish province of Mugla. This is reported by the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD).
The focus of the earthquake lay at a depth of 6.98 kilometers. No damage, deaths or injuries were reported as a result of the tremors.
