Earthquake Of Magnitude 5.5 Occurred East Of Tehran

A earthquake of magnitude 5.5 occurred in the Iranian province of Semann, located east of the capital of the country, Tehran.

According to the National Seismological Center of Iran, the epicenter of underground shocks recorded at 21:19 local time was in the area of ​​Sorhe. The focus of the earthquake lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.

It is noted that seismic activity was also felt in the eastern regions of Tehran, however, there were no reports of destruction.
