ECHR will consider Armenia’s crimes against Azerbaijan

Big Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) will consider a number of crimes of Armenia against Azerbaijan, reports Trend.

The complaint was filed in the ECHR on October 27, 2020.

Violations relate mainly to crimes committed during the second Karabakh war, and include indiscriminate attacks on civilians, as well as civil and state property and infrastructure; execution; cruel treatment and deposition of workers to military personnel and civilians; Capture and holding prisoners of war.

In addition, Azerbaijan claims that Armenia is responsible for a number of violations of the Conventions since 1992, including the continued movement of hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis from their homes; Cruel treatment and missing citizens of Azerbaijan without proper investigation; Destruction of cultural and religious values.
