In the Southern Vietnamese city of Hoshimin, in a fire in a five -story building, eight people died, among them two children. This is reported by the Vietnamese news agency (VNA).
According to local authorities, the fire occurred in the apartment on the ground floor of the building located in the area of Fu Thoa. The cause of the fire has not yet been set. Fire calculations and ambulance brigades were sent to the scene.
As a result of the incident, the street to Doc Long on which the building was located was blocked for movement. It is also reported that several cars parked at the house were injured from the fire.
According to the National Statistical Administration of Vietnam, in the first six months of this year, 1723 fire and explosions occurred in the country. As a result of these incidents, 48 people died, another 75 were injured.
