In the Binagadin district court, the submission of the investigative body on the extension of the arrest of the former emergency and authorized Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina Eldar Gasanova was considered.
According to HaqQin.az, on the process chaired by Judge Seisal Tagiyev, the view was satisfied.
By the decision of the court, the arrest of Eldar Gasanova extended for another 3 months.
Recall that in the course of financial inspections, reasonable suspicions appeared in the fact that the ex-ambassador of Azerbaijan in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina Eldar Gasanov made misuse of the large amount of budget funds, and also made other violations of laws. Eldar Hasanov was detained on August 13 as a suspect. By the decision of the Sabail district court against Eldar Gasanova, a preventive measure was adopted in the form of arrest until November 3.
