Elected President Iran promised to fight corruption and poverty

The people of Iran requires changes, fight against corruption and improving well-being, and this request will be fulfilled by the new government, declared the elected Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on Monday at the first press conference after the vote.

“Message of the people of Iran – changes. Message of the people of Iran – the fight against corruption, poverty and discrimination, as well as the achievement of justice,” said Raish, adding that “this is a message for the new government to be heard.”

According to Raisi, “government priorities will improve the conditions of business situation, the lives of people and situations in the government, as well as the reform of the administrative system and the elimination of a traditional bureaucracy that prevents change.”

Thirteenth in the history of modern Iran, the presidential elections were held on July 18. Raisa at the turn of 48.8% scored 17.9 million votes (about 62%).
