The American billionaire and senior adviser to US President Ilon Musk said that Ukraine should go to the polls.
“Ukraine needs to hold elections. (President of Ukraine Volodymyr) Zelensky would lose by a wide margin,” Musk wrote on his page on social networks X in response to the publication about “Meeting of the Ukrainian Opposition with the Trump administration.”
After the public skirmish of the Ukrainian leader in the Donald Trump team in the Oval office in Politico, information appeared that representatives from the encirclement of the head of the White House met with the political opponents of Zelensky.
According to sources, officials from Trump’s entourage met with former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and ex-president Peter Poroshenko.
Commenting on the reports, Poroshenko said that his team “publicly and transparently” works with its American partners.
On February 28, a skirmish occurred between Zelensky and the Trump team in the oval office, after which a previously planned joint press conference was canceled, and the president of Ukraine left the White House.
