Ilona Mask SpaceX told the Pentagon about the inability to pay for the STARLINK satellite communication system in Ukraine. The message about this was published by CNN.
“We are not able to further provide Ukraine with Starlink terminals. We will not be able to do this for a certain time,” the company’s letter said.
The letter also indicates the SpaceX request to the Pentagon to take the costs of paying for the supply of additional terminals to Kyiv, including the payment of the system in the interests of the Ukrainian military.
We are talking about $ 124 million, which the Pentagon must pay before the end of 2022.
