Italian embassy in Baku on its Twitter condemned a terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran and expressed condolences to the family of the murdered employee of the diplomatic member of Orkhan Askerov.
“A monstrous attack on the Azerbaijan Embassy in Iran caused us anger. We express our deep condolences to the family of the deceased. We wish the wounded speedy recovery, we express admiration for the courage of the security service of the Azerbaijani embassy in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the publication says.
Note that on January 27, 2023, at about 08:30 Baku time, a terrorist attack took place on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.
The attacker opened fire from the Kalashnikov assault rifle for the security post, the head of the security service was killed, two guards of the embassy were injured. The attack is currently being conducted.
