Today, August 3, an emergency convened extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis will take place. The meeting will be held on the basis of the appeal of 53 deputies of Milli Majlis to the Chairman of the Milli Majlis Sahib Gafarov.
As previously reported by HaqQin.az, the consideration of the only question is included in the agenda of the meeting – depriving the inviolability of the deputy of Milli Majlis Eldaniz Salimov based on the presentation of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Note that Milli Majlis deputy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Eldanis Salimov July 29 at the Old Dvor restaurant in Khachmaz committed hooliganism with respect to the employee of the registration and identity of the Hachmaz district police department of Zura Mirzoyeva.
The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal case under Article 309.2 (Exceeding Official Powers) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
