Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, during his visit to Libya, discussed with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNA) Abdulhamid Dibeibe issues of cooperation in the field of energy.
According to a written statement by the Libyan GNA, the meeting held in Tripoli was also attended by Libyan Oil Minister Khalifa Abdussadiq and Chairman of the Libyan National Oil Corporation Mesud Suleiman.
Minister Bayraktar conveyed a message from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Prime Minister Dibeibe.
During the meeting, at which prospects for cooperation between Turkey and Libya in various fields of energy were discussed, issues of exploration and prospecting, development of energy infrastructure, and exchange of experience in technical fields were discussed.
Prime Minister Dibeibe emphasized the importance of using the joint potential of energy projects of both countries to strengthen national economies and create sustainable investment opportunities.
