Erdogan advises Athens to refrain from provocations, and Yerevan to take advantage of chance

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the opening of the autumn session of the Turkish parliament of the 27th convocation on Saturday in Ankara, touched on the topic of tension in the Aegean and Mediterranean seas.

“The promotion of Greece [by the United States] to deploy weapons on the islands, contradicts the spirit of allies with Turkey. The course on provocations and tension will not bring good to any of the countries,” the Turkish leader warned, the words of which are quoted by Anadolu.

According to him, Ankara knows very well who exactly pushes Athens to provocations.

Turkish President also dwelled on the situation in the South Caucasus. Erdogan emphasized that Armenia should comprehensively take advantage of the chance for a long -term world in the region, and did not rule out the ambulance with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
