Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In the Directorate of Relations under the Presidential Administration, during the conversation, the leaders exchanged congratulations in connection with the holiday of Kurban.
During the meeting, President Erdogan wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev success in the presidential election, which will be held on July 9 in Uzbekistan.
The Head of State expressed the desire for the third meeting of the Council of Strategic Cooperation of the High-level Turkey-Uzbekistan to take as soon as possible.
