Erdogan and Rutte discussed Sweden membership in NATO

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. This was reported by the Office for the Relations of the Administration of the President of Turkey.

Discussed the state of bilateral relations, the process of Sweden entry into NATO, provocative shares in relation to the Koran in Europe, as well as regional and international problems.

President Erdogan noted that next year it turns 100 years old on friendship between Turkey and the Netherlands. The head of state expressed confidence that mutual visits at a high level will contribute to strengthening ties between the two countries.

touching the topic of Sweden membership in NATO, the Turkish leader stated that Stockholm took steps in the right direction, making changes to the anti -terrorism legislation.
