Erdogan approved an agreement between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved an agreement between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia “On the preliminary exchange of data to facilitate customs transit operations as part of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project”

The corresponding document signed by the Head of State is published in the “Official Bulletin” (Resmi Gazete).

The agreement between the governments of the three countries was signed on August 18, 2022 in Baku.

The contract is aimed at simplifying customs procedures in relation to goods transported by transit by rail Baku – Tbilisi – Kars, which passes through the territory of all three states.
