The Azerbaijani Army during anti -terrorist measures in Karabakh acted uncompromisingly in relation to terrorists, while showing extraordinary humanism to the civilian population.
This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to him, the anti -terrorist measures of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan strengthened the sovereignty of Azerbaijan over Karabakh and opened a new window for peace in the region.
Ankara expected to show a strong will to establish peace in the region instead of delaying the peace process, the Turkish leader said.
The Head of State noted that the progress in Baku and Yerevan will contribute to regional stability.
The Turkish leader noted that the opening of the Zangezur corridor, which is very important for Turkey and Azerbaijan, is a strategic issue and should be realized.
President Erdogan added that the time has come for the world in Karabakh under the sovereignty of Azerbaijan, and the duty of Armenia is to promote its establishment and preservation.
He also touched on the topic of Turkish supply of the United States of F-16 fighters.
The Head of State indicated that Turkey hopes to get a “positive result without much delays” on the transfer of F-16 fighter fighters.
