Erdogan called on Turkish citizens abroad to active participation in elections

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked the Turkish citizens living abroad for actively participating in the parliamentary and presidential elections on May 14.

In his publication on Twitter, the Turkish leader called on fellow citizens to demonstrate a high turnout and in the second round of the presidential election on May 28.

“Dear fellow citizens. We successfully completed the first round of elections where a record turn was recorded. Contrary to all the challenges and attempts of pressure, Turkish citizens abroad have fulfilled their civic duty, supporting Turkish democracy. Your position is a subject of pride for our entire people ! The name of each of you today is already inscribed in the political history of Turkey, ”the publication of the head of state says.

The Turkish leader recalled that the voting process in foreign plots and the Turkish checkpoint starts tomorrow (on Saturday, May 20).

“I ask you to take advantage of your democratic law again. I completely believe that we will successfully withstand this exam,” the Turkish President emphasized.
