President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Greece Kiriyakos Mitsotakis.
According to the statement of the Presidential Communications Department, Erdogan congratulated Mitsikitis on a success achieved in a general election.
The Turkish President expressed the hope that the new period would be useful for Turkish-Greek relations.
During the conversation, the parties noted that the presence of strong governments in both countries is an opportunity for the future development of bilateral relations.
