Erdogan: elections of May 14 became holiday of democracy of Turkey

Presidential and parliamentary elections on May 14 in Turkey became a holiday of democracy. This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressing Monday night to fellow citizens who gathered at the central office of the ruling party of justice and development (PSR) in Ankara.

“The winner in the elections, regardless of the indicators, became Turkey and its people. Erdogan said that he was grateful to each of the 27 million voters who supported his candidacy in the presidential election. “At the same time, I am grateful to all 56 million voters who came to polling stations,” the politician emphasized.

President Erdogan noted that the elections to the Turkish parliament, even in the preliminary situation of forces, are indicated by the majority of the “Union of People”, which includes PSR.
