Turkish authorities were able to again take control of the spread of coronavirus due to the previously full locked, said Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today.
“We were largely able to control the pandemic due to the full Lokdanun, which was introduced during the month of Ramadan. At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, we also discussed the second stage of the gradual steps to normalize the situation in the country, which will begin after June 1,” said Turkish leader at a press conference in Ankara, reports TASS.
According to him, the new mitigation of restrictive measures will follow from June 1, in the near future details will be announced.
