Erdogan: “In many places there are mass burials of Turks killed by Armenians”

President Joseph Biden used unreasonable, unfair and far from reality a statement about painful events that occurred more than a century ago, Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, commenting on the recent statement of the head of the White House for the so-called “Armenian Genocide”.

“If you are talking about genocide, then look in the mirror and give an assessment of yourself,” the Turkish leader stated in a television at the end of the meeting of the Republic of Ministers.

The head of the Turkish state expressed confidence that Biden’s statement about the “genocide” was made under pressure from radical Armenian circles and antiturkets.

“The study of historical events and the disclosure of the truth about them should be provided to experts and historians, and not politicians,” said the Turkish leader.

President Erdogan stated that the Turkish side has not yet received an answer to its proposal to create a Joint Historical Commission on Armenian Approvals regarding the events of 1915.

“It is interesting how many documents are in the US archives if they are, is it possible to open it? Are there any documents in Europe, can they open them?” – said Turkish leader.

“In many places there are mass burials of the Turks killed by Armenians, but you will not find a mass burial of Armenians anywhere,” he added.

According to Erdogan, the presence of a numerous Armenian community in Turkey is another evidence of the faith of statements about the so-called “genocide”.

“At the same time, the Armenian population of Istanbul was approaching 650 thousand. I think people would not return voluntarily where the” genocide “was subjected to, – in particular, President Erdogan said.

The head of state stressed that it is unacceptable “hanging the” genocide “label to the Turkish people, when all the facts are obvious.”
